Is it legal and safe?
Instagram lets you open a public profile without logging in, but it interrupts you with a login wall after a few seconds and hides stories and highlights entirely. This viewer shows the same public profile without the wall. Our servers fetch the public data, normalize it and hand it to your browser. Because there is no logged-in session, nothing you do here can affect the account or appear in its activity.
Counts are fetched when you search and cached for a short time, so they may be a few minutes old. Follower and following lists are not available: Instagram only serves those to logged-in users, and we do not log in. Private accounts show the public header only, which is exactly what Instagram itself shows to non-followers.
Viewing public content is allowed — the account chose to make it public. We don't log in, don't bypass privacy settings and don't store the media you view. Respect copyright when you download.

- Can I see who follows an account?
- No. Follower and following lists require a login, and we never log in. The counts are visible, the lists are not.
- Are the numbers live?
- They are fetched when you search and cached briefly, so they can be a few minutes old. Reload to refresh.
- What do I see for a private profile?
- The public header: name, picture, bio and counts. No stories, highlights or posts, the same as Instagram shows a non-follower.
- Does the account get a notification?
- No. Viewing a public profile is not recorded by Instagram, and we do not log in, so there is nothing to notify.
- Can I paste a link instead of a username?
- Yes. Profile, post, reel and story links all work; we extract the username and open the profile.
- Do you keep a history of who I looked up?
- Your recent searches are kept in your browser. Our servers also record the usernames searched together with your IP address and a first-party visitor cookie, to operate the service, prevent abuse and control costs. This is kept for 90 days (IP addresses are shortened after 30 days), never sold or shared, and you can opt out or ask for deletion on the privacy page.
