By using Peekghost you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. The service is operated by Peekghost, Contact via support@peekghost.com (no physical mailing address published) ("we", "us"). How we handle personal data is in the privacy policy.

What the service is

A free tool that shows public Instagram content (stories, highlights, posts, reels and profile pictures) without an Instagram login. It is provided as is and as available. Instagram, its data suppliers or our own providers can change or block access at any time, so the service may be slow, wrong, incomplete or unavailable. We do not guarantee that any account, story or file can be shown, that content is current, or that the service will be available at any given time.

Who may use it

You must be at least 16 years old, or at least 13 where the law of your country allows a child of that age to use online services on their own. If you are under the age of majority where you live, use the service only with the permission of a parent or guardian. Do not use the service if the law of your country forbids it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the service to harass, stalk, threaten, intimidate, blackmail, defame or track anyone, or to gather information for doing so;
• try to see private accounts or private content, or to bypass any privacy setting, block, age gate or other access control of Instagram or of this service. The service cannot show private accounts, and anyone who says a tool can is scamming you;
• scrape, crawl or systematically download from the service, build a database of people or accounts from it, or use automated means to make requests, unless we have given you written permission. This includes bypassing or overloading our rate limits, budgets and protections, and reselling or re-hosting access to the service;
• use the service, or content you obtained through it, for advertising targeting, profiling, surveillance, facial recognition, machine-learning training, or any purpose that would break a law;
• interfere with the security or operation of the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without our consent, or attack the systems of our providers;
• misrepresent your identity or connection to us, or suggest that we endorse you, in the embed widget, the browser extension or elsewhere.

We may limit, block or stop serving anyone who we reasonably think breaks these rules, without notice.

Content belongs to its owners

The content you see belongs to its owners (the account holders or their licensors). We do not host it, claim any right in it or give you any right to it. Downloading is for your personal, non-commercial use. Respect the rights and privacy of the person who posted it: do not re-post, sell, or use it in a way that harms them, and do not use it to identify or contact someone who does not want to be contacted. You are responsible for what you do with content you view or save.

Embed widget, browser extension and Telegram alerts

• The embed widget shows public profile information on your own site. Whoever embeds it is responsible for their own site's legal notices, and for telling their visitors that a request to us is made when the widget loads. Do not embed it to harass anyone, or on pages about a person without a lawful reason.
• The browser extension only opens a public profile in the viewer. It collects no data itself.
• Telegram alerts are optional and limited to public accounts, with a cap on the number of accounts. We may change or stop them at any time. Telegram's own terms and privacy policy apply to your use of Telegram.

Removal and copyright

Account owners (and their representatives, and parents of minors) can ask us to block lookups of an account through the removal page. We review requests by hand and aim to act within 72 hours. Copyright owners can send notices to our designated agent on the DMCA page. We may block accounts that are the subject of valid requests and repeat infringers.

Advertising and third-party services

The service may be supported by advertising and may use analytics from other companies. Ads do not appear inside the story player, on download buttons, or on error and legal pages. We are not responsible for the content, products or privacy practices of advertisers or other third-party sites that you reach through the service; their terms and policies apply to them.

No affiliation, trademarks

Peekghost is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. "Instagram", "Facebook" and "Meta" are trademarks of Meta Platforms, Inc., used only to describe what the tool works with. Other names belong to their owners.

No warranty

To the maximum extent the law allows, we give no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing on the service is professional advice.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill or reputation, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service or from content shown through it. Because the service is free, our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to the amount you paid us for it, which is zero, or the minimum amount the law requires if that is higher. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law (for example for fraud, intentional wrongdoing, death or personal injury), or any mandatory right you have as a consumer where you live.

You are responsible for your use

You agree to compensate us for losses, claims and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from your breach of these terms or your unlawful use of content you obtained through the service, to the extent the law of your country permits such a clause.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Tel Aviv, Israel have exclusive jurisdiction, except that where you are a consumer you may also bring a claim in the courts of your country of residence, and mandatory consumer-protection law of that country continues to apply to you.

Changes and ending

We may change the service or these terms. When a change is material we update the version above and the changelog; continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept the new terms. You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end the service, or your access to it, at any time.
